Cheryl Stone

What do you want to be when you grow up?
Growing up is too hard!  But because it must be done, I really want to make movies.  I wrote a screenplay and I’m trying to sell it.  It’s set in Buffalo! Also, I would love to be the voice for a Disney character someday (a princess, not an animal).
And, if I had it my way, I would turn the Aud into a giant shoe store that would give away free chocolate every day.

What's your favorite thing about your hometown?

I’m from Lancaster. That is a place where you can turn one way and experience country living. Turn the other way, and you are in the middle of everything.

If you could only eat the same meal for the rest of your life, what would it be?
I practice this already. I am on the strict pizza-chocolate-ice cream diet.

What is your dream car?

It must be self-cleaning, can hover above snow and repel salt.

What are your pet peeves?

I hate answering pet peeve questions. What bothers me changes daily.

What is the craziest thing you've ever done?

Do we really want to go there? I was hoping to demand…..um, request your respect.

What’s the best thing about WNY?
I love being in an area that has the Bills and Sabres (welcome back…..I missed you).

Cheryl's Favorites
Holiday:
It’s hard to choose. Any holiday seems to involve chocolate. I may start making up new ones. Did you know tomorrow is Radio Personality Appreciation Day?
Cartoon: I have season 1 of The Jetsons and The Flintstones on DVD. The Smurfs are next for my collection.
Restaurant: I prefer warm cookies out of the oven over any restaurant dinner.
TV Show: Old shows: Friends, The Nanny, Family Ties, Growing Pains. New Shows: Lost, Gilmore Girls
Movie: Old movies: Groundhog Day, Back To The Future (or any Michael J. Fox movie from the 80s). New movies: Hitch (Will Smith and Kevin James together is pure genius)

Anything else you want to say?
Sure – listen to my show Sunday from 5pm-8pm. I’ll have more to say then.
