 Caught On Campus

96 San Diego State University students were arrested yesterday after cops raided their dorms
rooms and frat houses and found $60,000 in cash, cocaine, ecstasy, marijuana and methamphetamines.
Many of the students arrested were members of the Theta Chi and Phi Kappa Psi fraternities. The undercover sting was launched after the drug-overdose death of a college student last year.

Uma Thurman's stalker, Jack Jordan,
was found guilty of fourth-degree stalking and one count of second degree aggravated harassment. He's now facing up to a year in jail. 


Citing good behavior, and an improvement in her mental health, a judge yesterday granted Britney Spears more time with her sons.

Baskin-Robbins co-founder Irvine Robbins
has died at the age of 90. He opened his first ice-cream shop in 1945 and started each day with a bowl of cereal topped with a scoop of banana ice cream. 



Here Comes the Bride

 Jenna Bush's wedding is putting a squeeze on hotel rooms in the Waco, Texas area. Sneaky teens, who are trying to rent rooms for prom night, are being turned away in favor of reporters, who can afford to pay the inflated nightly rates. In an effort to keep Jenna's wedding private, the President is putting up high-tech electric fences and surveillance cameras around his ranch. He also has a military interceptor aircraft on standby in case the paparazzi break the No-Fly Zone in their quest to capture a shot of the weekend nuptials.



Retired 

 12 year-old David Witthoft recently retired his Brett Favre jersey after wearing it for 1,581 straight days. His father, Chuck, says, "His last day wearing the jersey was April 23, which was his 12th birthday. It was tough for him for awhile but now that he's 12, he is a little more concerned about his appearance. And the jersey barely came down to his beltline. Dave was pretty upset when Favre retired. But we knew we had to figure out an end game. He finally decided it was time."
